A rare form of cancer took my mother. Senator. I used to be licensed to practice & even though, I was perhaps overqualified, having already helped many who are still with us today. Unfortunately, the Surgeon had gotten to her first & that Butcher said he did her a favor.🙄😢😞

For more than two decades, the gun lobby & Republican allies in Congress blocked federal funding for firearms research. As a result gun-data collection & sharing is a mess that undermines research on programs & policies to prevent firearm injury, suicide and criminal violence.
