Well let me make a suggestion Senator Scott, when we have families on welfare and we start of cutting them off right away, how about we allow these people to get a little ahead and continue their welfare for 6 more months?

Affordable housing and raising the minimum wage would go a long way for single moms and lower income constituents. NY has protection on escalating rents. Many cities and states have raised minimum wage. SC has done neither.
