There are voices that say if you're a poor, Black, single mother like mine, abortion is your best option.   They must not know that the story of African Americans is one of victory, overcoming odds, & triumph in the face of tragedy.

As a single mother who made a career for herself out of hard work & determination to support her child, birth control was my wisest choice. I had a choice thanks to the women who came before me & Science. I also had insurance. Support women to have choices. Men have choices.
