It shouldn’t be as difficult as it is for charter school start-ups to get federal support. Every kid in America deserves a solid educational upbringing full of potential & opportunity.

You know why it should be difficult, because there has been so much FRAUD associated with private charter schools. They have taken the $$ and never bothered to open their doors. They don't hire professionals and the kids have to go to public schools to catch up academically.

Charter schools should NEVER receive public funding!! Public schools serve ALL levels of the public, a much greater number than funded charter or private schools. Properly funded Public Schools are the best source of bringing out full potential of ALL equally!!!

Tax dollars shouldn't go to right wing grifters teaching creationism in science class. (I say this as a product of Catholic schools, K through law.) This is yet another example of the modern day Republican Party (since 1965, not 2016) attacking America from within. Shame on you.

Absolutely right, Uncle Tom! It’s called the public school system.

Who did you vote for?

This should be your statement " it shouldn't be difficult for #schools to get federal support". #Teachers wouldn't have to spend their salaries to buy supplies for their students. Or crazy idea, if schools are funded no one will need charter schools.

And when they do reach their full potential, you vote no. Hypocrite

Support our public schools and stop stealing our tax dollars for your "charter" experiment...
