Understandable. But what about Budapest memorandum where's USA one of guarantee? Should we then just stand aside and watching how people, who USA basically pressed to be disarmed, dying, even we promised them security?
They avg 60k a year plus benefits. Most work in the representatives office In Their home districts. Why did they need a raise? Congressperson chief of staff makes $160k..
Most don’t work in DC, most work in the local office where that congressperson represents.. the ones in DC they make closer to 100k and everyone else is in the 60k range.. press sec, chief of staff and one secretary works in DC!!!
According to the Dirksen Congressional Center, most House offices have one or two, while senators have three to five, depending on their state's population.
Page 8-Since 2009, Member staff have decreased to 6,329, a 14.0% decline. And again most work out of the local office..

You had no problem with Trump, the bully, when he got impeached the first time because he tried and failed to blackmail President Zelensky into helping him steal the 2020 election, in a way that weakened Ukraine's defenses and aided Putin's current invasion.
