If they started drilling today on approved land it would take 3 or more years to see any benefit from that, correct? Why these one liners that aren’t helping solve the problem? This only further divides the country against one another.

There are 9000+ approved permits, over 1/2 in oil-rich Permian Basin. Oil companies refuse to drill. Companies choose from whom to buy oil. Free market capitalism. They also choose what to charge - not the president. Oil's not the only energy source. Stop blocking alternatives.
