A ban on Russian oil is exactly what is needed—we should have never been funding Putin’s war! But the current price spikes in gas didn’t happen overnight. President Biden’s obstruction of U.S. oil & gas production drove up prices over the last year.
President Biden: "Today I'm announcing the United States is targeting the main artery of Russia's economy. We're banning all imports of Russian oil and gas and energy."

Yes it did, as soon as the war started and Oil Prices became part of the conversation the gas stations, convince stores started raising the price .20 at a min. So ya overnight, that’s just Theses Store Owners taking advantage of people and the situation.

Senator you want to jump start the country and make an impact? Open drilling, sell the oil, increase sanctions, open ports to fix SC, take a stand v China and get an adult in office.

We have actually produced more oil, it is at record numbers and we will continue to produce more oil – there are 9000 drilling permits that are not being used. So the suggestion that we are not let allowing companies to drill is inaccurate. ..

You were silent when Trump bought all that oil from Russia and when Trump signed that deal with OPEC in 2020 to slash production

We import minimal Russian gas. That’s not why prices are up. It’s big oil taking advantage of us.
