What is Biden talking about? The rise in gas prices reached historic highs way before the war in Ukraine. Just last Thanksgiving, gas prices were 60% higher than they were the year before. That was three months before the invasion…
President Biden: "The decision today is not without cost here at home. Putin's war is already hurting American families at the gas pump...I'm going to do everything I can to minimize Putin's price hike here at home."

Tell your big money Big Oil donors to increase production instead of prices. They are price gouging the American public and raking in obscene record profits. Kind of like they did under GWBush

Post pandemic wave of people driving again was unprecedented. That meant that the oil companies would obviously raise prices and keep us hostage. There is no shortage, it’s all greed.

I know your college diploma was a gift so you could get elected to office, but borrow a damn Macro Econ textbook. No president controls global oil prices.

Gas prices are set by OPEC, American companies follow suit (greed). You know this, but play the narrative for political gain. As long as we are dependent on oil (foreign/domestic) we are all pawns to their greed … and political desires.
