The @SenateGOP has always supported properly funding the police — now that the Dems’ “defund” rhetoric is no longer popular, they’re changing their tune. But we need action, not just words.

Democratic legislators were never, ever for defunding the police, and you know it. Certain activists, who don’t hold elected office, were for defunding the police and probably still are.

Twisting words yet again. “Defund” really equals “Redistribute”… funds for intervention tools like non gun toting, properly trained, social/mental health response instead of guns drawn on unarmed people facing personal trauma.
