Growing up in Charleston, SC, I understand the importance of local law enforcement agencies to their respective communities. We’ve got to do everything we can to make sure these brave men and women are fully equipped to do their jobs effectively.

Then why haven’t you spoke up about the Capital Police officer’s and what happened on Jan 6.

Why did you tank your own police reform bill? Why did you vote against funding the police?
They would do better to have collaborative forms of intervention that include skill sets which police do not and will likely not have. Example: “A national survey of 958 police agencies, published in 2017, found that 30.2 percent of police officers had four-year college degrees”

What kind of s-h country needs military equipment to enforce domestic laws? China and Russia maybe, N. Korea probably... Does Canada, UK, Australia, Japan, France need tanks and chemical weapons to keep their people in line? Maybe that's a clue about our government, huh?

Do you understand the importance of public school teachers in their respective communities? Have you done everything to ensure that those brave men and women are fully equipped to do their jobs effectively? #SchoolChoice

Serve and protect is an attitude, no equipment required..
