As a child who grew up working jobs under the min. wage, & as a business owner that paid over the min. wage, I know this mandate will kill jobs & destroy our small businesses. In fact, the CBO reports a loss of 1.4 million jobs. The Dems $15 min wage hike doesn't make sense.

When does the full 15 take effect. ..right away ? Or in 4 years?

You and everyone, in this thread, who seems to think $15 is too much is assuming a lot about people you all don't know or never met. Some businesses will have to adjust. The cost of living increases EVERY YEAR and wages stay the same. This is wrong.

If you worked jobs under the minimum wage, then you're saying the minimum wage doesn't matter and people can get a job anyway. So we should be able to raise it. So you just killed your own argument.

how much was min wage when you were growing up? How much is it now? If they are even remotely close something needs to change. The cost of living continues to rise but wages don't. Somethings gotta give. Biz always do the bare minimum to stay open. Time to raise the bare minimum.

Are you advocating for businesses to break the law and illegally pay workers less than the minimum wage?

So because people would only need to work two jobs instead of three makes no sense huh..mmmk

Did you go out of business because you paid over minimum wage?
