This is simply not true. Raising the minimum wage so it accounts for the inflation of the past 30 years creates jobs because it gives people more money to spend in the economy. Businesses make out better because more people can afford their products and services.

We have all heard this argument a million times, Tim -- that the Mom and Pop greasy spoon wouldn't survive a $15/hr. minimum wage. The basic solution would be to offer these types of business a bridge to being able to paying a living wage.
