On Day 1, @JoeBiden issued EOs that hurt the middle class. By cancelling the Keystone Pipeline, we will see our energy costs rise & 1000s of rural American jobs lost, all while challenging our relationship w/ our Canadian allies. I hope he reconsiders before more damage is done.

In Pittsburgh we discovered that promised jobs from fracking never appeared. The limited surge in jobs, much less than projected, turned out to be temporary construction jobs that went largely to people from out of state. Why not invest in Green infrastructure instead?

Thanks @SenatorTimScott for being a clear voice of reason.

Only 35 Permenant jobs according to reports 11,000 possible temp positions that would last for less than one year according to google.com/amp/s/amp.statesm…

I guess we're going to overlook the blatant disregard for what the pipeline was doing to the environment and wildlife. Not to mention the total disrespect to the indigenous people. As usual you only give one side of the story🙄🙄🙄

Nonsense. He’s saving the environment and will be creating new clean energy jobs soon.

This administration has no idea how these type decisions effect people personally and the whole nation for that matter.

Isn’t this a chance to update “Opportunity Zones” and come up with new ways to create jobs instead of lamenting what Biden had done? What can you do to make what you had initiated help those who are losing those jobs?

Please do your research on the oil that the keystone pipeline was going to carry. It's tar sands. It is very heavy and they have to mix dangerous chemicals with it for it to move. And it won't help us, it is a Canadian company shipping it to the gulf to export.

I am middle class and it didn't hurt me at all. It's nasty, dirty tar sands and has had over 21 pills costing us millions - near billions to clean up. Time to cut it off and let Canada handle their own sewage.

You take money from oil companies, your opinion on this subject is moot. #sellout
