150 years ago, South Carolina’s first congressional district elected the first Black American to the U.S. Congress. 140 years later, that same district honored me with the same opportunity. @GOPLeader and I spoke about this important legacy.

Please oppose to s386/HR1044 bill. It will have terrible consequences on American workers as well as migrants from more than 190 countries. This bill is an unfair one giving all green cards for more than one decade to one nation (Indians). #AcademicHalt #StopHR1044
