Two months ago, the @SenateDems chose presidential politics over police reform by blocking the #JUSTICEAct. I see and hear those children in vulnerable communities, and I will work relentlessly for them until they get the change they need. bet.com/news/national/2020/0…

You told your fellow Republican congressman that you were pulled over 18 times in 2 decades and what was their response? They’ve ignored you and your struggles. Now, we’re supposed to believe Republicans care?

Tim reach across the aisle stop pointing fingers. Five years is too long to work on one bill, tear it up sit down and start over. Compromise! Work towards success, get our State Legislators on board with complimentary legislation! Get to work! @MoeBrownSC @harrisonjaime

No Senator. Read S.3985, National Criminal Justice Commission Act& Closing the Law Enforcement Consent Loophole Act are great. The George Floyd & Walter Scott Notification Act are not helpful at all. And just start over with that Breonna Taylor Notification Act.
Sir, I get it. I’ve read Uncle Tom’s Cabin. I’ve seen the character “Token” on South Park. And i know that a handful of privileged modern black politicians who hope to be a big fish in a small pond shill for the .@GOP. It’s not all that. It’s that .@realDonaldTrump is amoral.

Excellent opinion piece. We must come together to unite and heal the whole nation. No Hubris, Hoax, or Hate. If the crony establishment, from both parties, refuse to cooperate, then they must be voted out. Only then will we see real change.

I feel sorry for those few black Republicans, their agenda is not been met for the struggling black communities. Senator Tim Scott is part of a party, where’s most of it’s peoples, doesn’t appear to peoples of color. Tim Scott, many of those peoples hate you, white supremacy!

@SenatorTimScott does your #JusticeAct include training for dealing with Autistic teens and adults? People of every color get autism. There have been several people with autism shot by police that could've been prevented with training.
Scott's Justice Act called for studies, reports,, data collection, etc. He did not address systemic racism or police use of force. Scott's publicly stated that racism does not exist in America. That belief should disqualify him from having a significant role in Justice reform.
