Why did he support such a destructive policy platform, especially one that harms blacks in particular so severely? If he meant well and was a great guy, he had no grasp of economics and morality.

You deserve to be forgotten and I hope you will. You are a stain on the beautiful ceremony.
Replying to @SenatorTimScott
And yet you support that disgusting human @realDonaldTrump

How does it feel deep down to know that you will never ever achieve the honor or respect that @repjohnlewis attained for his service to the country and you will never amount to anything but a slave serving your master and handler @realDonaldTrump?
Why can’t you follow him by speaking out against the racism of trump n repub party and also against storm troopers in Oregon
I wonder what @repjohnlewis would think of this? I know my Congressman has no problem with Gestapo tactics being used on people out taking part in what John Lewis referred to as "good trouble".
"Welcome to the world of secret police and nighttime raids. The world where you can be snatched by an unidentified officer in an unmarked van. The world where you get to see an attorney, maybe, after the government is done beating you." bit.ly/3g9EdBS
You and your GOP party fought him every step of the way!!!!!

Thank you for exhibiting grace and appreciation for @repjohnlewis today, @SenatorScott. I believe in my heart that you may be a bridge to help heal this ignorantly divided nation. Keep the flame, sir. You now carry the torch.
Did you learn anything from John Robert Lewis, Bill? It sure doesn’t look like it when you support separating children from their families at the border.

Dearest Senator Tim Scott, I hope your kind words for Cong John Lewis move you to do the right thing for black people. Be brave. You have a obligation and a duty sir as a sitting US Senator
