A Russian "military correspondent" wrote his reaction to the death of Ukrainian novelist Viktoria Amelina. Below is the translation of his Telegram post.
I decided to share this post for two reasons. The first is, obviously, the reaction itself to the death of a civilian woman, who was having dinner with her Colombian colleagues (
@hectorabadf among them) in Kramatorsk when Russia attacked the pizzeria with Iskander missile. And, secondly, I was appalled by the amount of support and approval this post(see the reactions section on the screenshot).
"I was happy to learn that Lviv novelist Victoria Amelina also died as a result of the missile attack on Kramatorsk. She was in that very cafe where the blessed Iskander missile, which had been revered by the unhappy Russian people, flew in. Victoria was born in Lviv and being a flesh-and-blood stupid fool, she went to Canada with her parents. On the wave of Maidan she came back and began to praise this very Maidan. She chose expansionism of the moronic culture into the native Russian lands as the goal of her writings. She believed that there were wrong Ukrainians living in the East, russified and she needed to help fix them and bring them back into the fold of their native moronic "culture". She founded a book festival in the village of New York (Ukraine), I remind you that this is a Russian village of Novgorodskoye, to promote her rotten ideas. So the Russian God struck this Ukrainian scum with a blow of justice retaliation. For every fool who cannot sit at home, there is a Iskander. Because God is with us. And he knows where to aim the Iskander. He won't miss. Be good! Burn in hell, you scum."
