I know some people like that part, it's like tuning a car. I was just NEVER one of those, been a console boy since day 1, but I completely respect the folks that can/will do all that to get the absolute peak experience.

If we're being real, I personally can't stand having to use a middleman for all my software. I wish I could just put on my headset and launch the specific app. Once the whole Oculus/Steam VR setup starts chugging, I remember the beauty of using a console.

Hell yeah, good on you. I pretty much know my way around a PC and it still takes me long enough to get frustrated. That being said, I know not everyone is on my level when it comes to time :D
You're not wrong, but you're also forgetting a lot of things. If we start with a blank slate on both ends, one setup still only involves pressing 2 power buttons.
I completely agree the Quest2 with PC is one of the best ways to get in game, but it still requires some knowhow.
