And? Samsung odyssey is still cheaper but has a bit shit tracking. Oculus is still cheaper but has a bit less shit tracking. The Vive is almost perfect but it's goddamn price and you know what, everywhere else in the world has it worse! $849AUD for the OG Vive, fk sake!

This is future tech in the making throughout history man. Nothing starts off perfect and nothing starts off cheap. People can be patient.

I think the lower priced OG system will be a really big sell even for people that were considering development, even the standard is pretty pro-sumer and you're getting it for a steal, plus you know retailers will eventually have discounts on top of that discount :D
