Not a fan of Meta folks & #PCVR fanboys up in arms about positive #PSVR2 press. I absolutely enjoy playing #VR on my PC, but there is definitely a larger amount of friction before actually entering a game. With PS, I turn on my headset & I pick a game. Efficiency is 馃ご

I'm not a fan of negative nonsense either but what friction is there with Quest on PC? I plug (or not) and play as easily as PSVR and have zero friction beyond selecting my game. Seems PSVR has just caught up.

You're not wrong, but you're also forgetting a lot of things. If we start with a blank slate on both ends, one setup still only involves pressing 2 power buttons. I completely agree the Quest2 with PC is one of the best ways to get in game, but it still requires some knowhow.

Not a lot. VR is new-ish, but not exactly a niche. PSVR has broadened appeal, no question. Still love mine. Just don't have and not had issues with PCVR.

If we're being real, I personally can't stand having to use a middleman for all my software. I wish I could just put on my headset and launch the specific app. Once the whole Oculus/Steam VR setup starts chugging, I remember the beauty of using a console.
