Any Premiere Pro experts in my timeline who know a lot about color management / HDR color spaces? I'm going crazy trying to get the settings right with PS5 output footage.

I avoided in console capture for this very reason. I ended up going for an Elgato 4K60S+ which has been brilliant. You do need the console to be connected to a 4K monitor for it to record 4K footage though. Slap a 512GB SD card in it and you’re good to go.

Does it record HDR in that case though?

It can record HDR but you can turn HDR off in the console menu if you don’t want it.

I believe it adds latency to the passthrough port so playing at the same time isnt great. But I havent tested so who knows.
