My point is that it's ridiculous to criticize the praying aspect of this mechanic because it's just an in world explanation for why you can resurrect from death combined with a simple gesture to make. It's not like you have to do Hail Marys or lay out a prayer rug.

The act of putting your hands together is not prayer it's just putting your hands together.

And of all the things to criticize about a Fantasy MMO. Prayer is the most nonsensical. To complain about it you would almost have to have no other MMO experience cause every one I have played has had some sort of prayer mechanic, this one being the absolute least intrusive.

It's almost like Frank has never played any DnD derivative Fantasy before
