Amazing, question? Since it’s full 360, could the home screen ever be adapted for a better VR UI that could take full advantage of something like this?

We would argue that it potentially could, (though I'm no engineer). Our themes are all made with that potential in mind though. And just for you, @PSVRfrank , here's a demonstration of how :)
