Understood. Have you or your friend gone into the world's settings and enabled multiplayer? Once that is done, you should see each other's worlds in your friends tab. ^AG

Players can change their username every 30 days. Previous usernames are held for an extra week. The process is automated and support helpers can't change them for players, but you can go here minecraft.net/en-us/profile to make the username change. ^AG

From the start menu on your PC, try searching for “wsreset” and select "Run". You don't need to download anything; this should already be on your computer. This should reset the Microsoft Store and fix any installation issues you may be having. Let us know if this helps! ^FF
