Minecraft should automatically update, but if you like, you can try to perform a manual update by following this guide: help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/…. If the update is not yet available to you, we recommend trying again in 48 hours. ^AG
I take it you're on PC running Java, do I have that right? Have you tried using another network on your machine or using a wired connection to your router? ^AG
