We aren't seeing any outages in Realms at the moment. This error could also show up if your game isn't able to connect due to network issues. Have you tried any network troubleshooting so far? Also, what platform are you playing on ^LK

Since the system is fully automated, there is no way to circumvent it for any reason nor can we discuss any details. We would recommend choosing another username you are happy with, as we cannot guarantee if the name will become available again. ^LK
