@MojangSupport my realms trial just ran out but I can't pay for a subscription or time extension, it just throws up an error? I've tried with two different cards and PayPal on three different devices but it just says try again later

I went to that page first, and all it says is 'it can be one of many things' which is not helpful at all. The error says "error! sorry, we're unable to process your purchase at this time. please try again later" - what can you specifically tell me about that?
