Nice to see the new version of #Minecraft. However, the changes to game saves make it all but useless for my son. @Mojang @MojangSupport

Are there any plans to reintroduce the option to NOT have it auto-save? I have a world for my son that has had +100hrs of work on it.

Enormous sculptures of creepers, endermen, animals etc. all packed with TNT and primed to blow at the flick of a switch; which he loves.

Old Minecraft, his world doesn't autosave. He can blow them up, reload, blow them up, reload, set them on fire, reload etc.

New version; one & done. Everything needs building again. No way to not save. No option to quit without saving. Even closing app saves. :-/
