@MojangSupport Why is the launcher not showing the changelog for 1.12? Did you forget to update it?

This appears to be the older launcher or a modded version, I'm afraid we can only assist with the new launcher^AH

How do I get the new launcher, then? I just re-downloaded it from the website and that is what I got.
