Without this VPN, I can't even start the launcher since the resources are downloaded from ports other than 80, 443, 110

I'm afraid that using a VPN is likely the problem. If there is an issue with the connection without a VPN, contact your ISP ^MV

I can't, it's a student public connection which is not secured, I'm forced to use that VPN.
