To find out if a username is taken, go to your Mojang account and click change. Third party checkers and hasPaid are not always accurate.

@MojangSupport What happens if you accidentally changed your name. Are you stuck with it for the 30 days.

@MojangSupport Yeah... I try to remove him from the keyboard, but when he see #minecraft he just has to be front and center.
