My switch over to playing modded has had a surprise result of dozens of people talking about planning on buying computers so they can play Java now lol.

Ugh I'm having tons of problems with java, when I go to the launcher and click on play it asks me to put in a new username and when I do it says that "some error occurred" @MojangSupport
