why? like, what insurmountable advantages does that give me, other than making it less likely to ragequit?

I think there's a way to turn it on before making the world that means cheats aren't enabled but I don't remember

i think that’s just Java. I’m on my phone and the only way I can access that option prior to making a world is with the “enable cheats” switch, unfortunately

@MojangSupport idk i just feel like this is more of a quality of life feature, akin to a starter chest or showing coordinates, not making the game too easy. i should be able to earn achievements/advancements
