Hi Damon. I understand your frustration, but we no longer have the tools needed to assist with account matters as of September 19, 2023. I'd suggest taking a look at our Post-Migration Process FAQ for more info: msft.it/6014iBGwr ^BT

Thanks for the response. I've attempted the post-migration process but unfortunately I don't have access to the account email any more. I can login and start the process, however, I can't get the email code it sends out (which is why I couldn't migrate in the first place).

If you do not have access to the email your Mojang account was associated with, we will not be able to update the email to a new one for you to be able to claim the code. If you do not have the email, you may reach out to your email provider for assistance. -JL

Thanks, assumed would likely be the case. Unfortunately they decomissed the email provider I used. I have the transaction number, all the account details and can still access the account. Just disappointing I've lost access my game/profile I've had for 10 years.

In regards to this is there anything I can do or is the only way for me to play to buy the game all over again?

Currently, if you are unable to access the email the account was attached to there is no other way to claim the post-migration code. I know that this is a less than ideal situation, but thank you for your understanding. -JL

Thanks for your assistance. One last thing since the account doesn't get migrated does that mean I can reclaim the user name eventually?

We don't have a specific date or time when that'd be possible, but they should be released at a later date! ^BT

Even if Microsoft said make this migration process happen, the way you set a sunset date and mass deleted accounts is fraudulent. Not only that, but you don't even honor your own contracts with early adopters. If you don't do the right thing, the FTC will have to do it for you.
