hey @MojangSupport can you please add a trail ruin explorer map to the game. I think it's slightly unreasonable that I've traveled 50,000 blocks on foot and not found one yet. yes, I am aware that they spawn in specific biomes, and I am on the latest version...

I think that's a good suggestion, it would be nice to have a map available where you can just get straight into exploring some ruins. We can't escalate suggestion like this directly, but I definitely think you should submit this idea at msft.it/60169CJiw -JL

Is it obtained through treasure hunting and trading? Or beat a creature to get it?

I might need some help understanding this question. Are you asking about trail ruins in Minecraft? Those will spawn naturally in certain biomes and do not require items to locate or excavate. However, Trial Ruins contain suspicious sand/gravel which you use a brush on. -AG

I want to know if I can add more color boxes and get different colors through different tree species. It feels cool.

Chopping wood from different tree species and then applying an axe to the wood will net you different variants of wood stripped of its bark, if that's what you mean. We recommend visiting community spaces online for guides on acquiring other items in-game. -AG
