it takes too long for the game to load when logging in, opening worlds, loading chunks... if I'm running or exploring, it won't load fast enough around me. I've tried reinstalling the game, lowering video settings, but nothing changes

The root cause may be related to the game's save data; as it reaches a large size, it can take a while for the game to read it. If you have old Marketplace content you are not using or worlds that you no longer play on, you can remove these from your console storage. -JL

I bought the game on switch last week. it's slow even with just 1 new world saved. Tried deleting other games to free up some space, but nothing helped so far
