Thank you for the reply. I don’t have household internet, so I’d be limited to the build that was added to this disc’s release. Any info on what build/patch number on this disc?

Just to check, are you able to see the build/version number when you open up the main menu, or if it's listened on the box that the disc came in? ^BT

I cannot check because I haven’t bought this release of the game. The disc build is actually a deciding factor on whether or not I will purchase this disc version of Minecraft, hence my curiosity on this matter before spending money on it. I’d be grateful if your team can confirm

Gotcha! You should get whatever version of the game that was out when the game was manufactured. Based on the link you sent from Best Buy, you'll just need to get the latest version. If you don't have internet connection though, you won't be able to get future updates. ^BT
