@MojangSupport im having an issue with support where they cannot confirm that i own the bedrock version of minecraft. i have full ownership of bedrock linked to same account as my java edition, yet for some reason ticket support could only see that the game is borrowed

xbox support could confirm that this is the case but they told me this is because it is still handled by mojang

1/3 my first tweet was after i had contacted support regarding my eligibility of the vanilla cape as i had migrated both of my editions to the same account before the cuttoff date of june 6th 2022, and my bedrock edition was redeemed from the code that was handed out to legacy

2/3 mojang accounts, which according to the article is acceptable for eligibility I was told that my account was not associated with an edition of bedrock. I opened a second ticket focused solely on this and i was then told that my account may have bedrock through

3/3 family sharing. I then contacted xbox support to ask whether or not this was the case, they told me that it was not family shared, but rather its common for bedrock edition to not be owned but show up as similar to sharing as its handled by minecraft themselves

not sure what to do as i have opened tickets but support could not help me my account is from 2012, it was purchased through a "block by block" 2 code e-card, which does also doesnt make it possible to get my transaction id. the other account from that card has this issue as well

the website itself does show that i own bedrock edition as well so its very confusing

the problem is not with migrating an account nor am i asking for cape to be granted to me (as that should of been automatic), my problem comes from the fact that the support team sees that my account does not own a version of bedrock, when by your own website/service it does

is there some way this can be fixed? or should i stop seeking support all together? i do own a version of bedrock, that should be very evident by the fact that the website affirms this, and i am able to use the account online in bedrock servers. and yet im told i do not own it
