@MojangSupport My nearly two years old world has gone! Tried all sorts to get it back, just opened a ticket with mojang, hopefully they can get it off the cloud or backups? Do you know how long it takes for them to respond to tickets! I'm devastated. Thanks

Hey there! An agent will be with your ticket as soon as possible. We might be able to help, here, in the meantime. Did this occur in Bedrock Edition? And if so, are you playing a console or mobile release of the game? -AG

Thank you! Bedrock edition, most recent edition and on Xbox S. 馃

You may be able to recover lost/corrupted worlds by using Xbox cloud game saves: msft.it/6013gIZq7. These cloud saves only save the most recent changes to your save data, but can still be a viable recovery option in the case of lost or corrupted worlds. ^FF

Thanks, sorry but I'm not 100% what the instructions are here, it's a faq of loads of options. If it's where you delete local storage and let it download from the cloud I've tried this multiple times. My most recent saves don't get downloaded. If something else plz let me know 馃

We don't store your Minecraft save data, as this data only exists locally on your device; we're unable to recover that data if it has been lost/corrupted. Check out our guide on managing your data and game storage to help prevent this in the future: msft.it/6017gIba3. ^FF

I'm a little confused by this as it's always syncing and sometimes I'm asked "which do you want to use this console or cloud data" when they're out of sync

You're telling me that Minecraft saves are solely stored on my Xbox!? Am I wasting my time. Sorry to be rude but I feel like I've stumbled before I've even got to the hurdles here cause you don't even know there's a race. No wonder there's so many player help videos and posts
