@MojangSupport I have a question. I am playing on an Xbox Series X on an ongoing world with someone on an iphone. The person I’m playing with does not want to play as much as I do. But they are the creator and host of the world.

Is your question if you can play on their world while they're offline? You could do that with a Realm, but that would require your friend to pay for a Realm subscription. Alternatively, you could ask them to transfer the world file to you so you can host it. ^LK

I’m asking if it was even possible for them to transfer the world file to me. How does that work? Is it complicated? Also keep in mind this is between a player on iPhone(my friend) and a player on Xbox(me).

Gotcha! We've got an FAQ on how to access your files and transfer worlds at msft.it/6010gaFnK. They'll be able to access their files using that information. It's a bit trickier to upload the world to your Xbox, but there are instructions for that too. ^LK

To be clear. I am not the owner of the original file for the world. Would I still be able to somehow acquire the world file from my friend on my Xbox account?

Would it be possible for my friend to give me permission on the Realm to download the world being used for myself?
