Hello! It looks like your friend could be having connectivity issues and is having trouble downloading your skin's image file, resulting in one of our premade skins as a fallback. Has your friend tried switching networks to see if the connection improves? -AG

When joining a friend's world, they act the host, as opposed to a server. The issue could be on either side, or maybe your networks are having a bad day. Connectivity issues can be tricky. Perhaps contacting your mobile ISP (internet service provider) can help! -AG
