@MojangSupport my @Minecraft launcher icon is gray and I understand from minecraft.com that this means I have a legacy Launcher. How do I get the standard launcher with the green icon?

The Minecraft Launcher is only available for Windows 10 and 11. Since it looks like you're using MacOS, you can definitely still use the Minecraft Unified Launcher (or Legacy Launcher). ^FF

The Minecraft Unified Launcher can be thought of as macOS's "default Minecraft launcher," for now. It is the launcher designed to work for Windows, macOS, and supported Linux distros. ^AG
