Does anyone know what is going on with the #Minecraft Launcher? Everytime I hit play it is always 'waiting on install'... Like shouldn't it just do this once until an update is released? Is is supposed to be like this? I don't get it... @MojangSupport

I've been getting the same lately. Everytime I start up Java via the launcher.

I get the same thing too, but with modded.

Hmm, we aren't able to specifically help with modded clients or launchers, but if the same thing is happening to you with vanilla Minecraft, feel free to also submit a request at aka.ms/Minecraft-Support! ^LK

Same thing happens to me as well it seems this is a ongoing issue with the launcher

Thank you for reaching out to us, as well. If this is for Java, the launcher is merely checking for updates and it's working as intended. If this is for Bedrock, try performing a game update through the Microsoft Store. ^AG
