It is assumed that this was java parity and it was from the betas also the notifications of new respects do not appear

Gotcha! We aren't able to directly comment on features like trap doors not making you crouch in Bedrock like it does in Java. Please visit our bug report site to see if the problem has already been reported: bugs.mojang.com. ^LK
