It might be stored in another location, but if it was deleted or corrupted there is no way for us to recover it since worlds are only stored locally. In the future, we recommend making backups of your worlds regularly: help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/… ^LK

What platform are you playing Minecraft on (PC, Xbox, iOS, etc.) and can you let us know if you're seeing any specific error messages? A screenshot or photo may help to narrow things down! ^FF

I play on Xbox. When I try to load my world it comes up saying “Failed to sync world data - Could not sync your world data. Would you like to try again” the name of the world has also changed to random letters and digits.
