@MojangSupport I keep on getting this error, i've tried signing in and out of my account, closing Minecraft and reopening it and nothing works.

is there an update? 5+ hours on, still unable to get on, I do not want to buy a new account just to play with friends again.

I hope this can be fixed, it shouldn’t be required to force me to buy a new account just to play with friends again because of this issue, I’ve had my account since beta 1.2 as a gift from a friend, it is heartbreaking to think its gone because of this issue.
