@MojangSupport If I buy bedrock on switch, would I be able to play with my kid on the PC version? Also how do I do that? Do I need a server? Is it done via LAN?

Does your kid have Bedrock or Java version? If Bedrock, you should be able to play with them, but you can't crossplay with someone playing Java edition. ^BT

I bought Java edition but not too long ago you guys gave Bedrock edition away for free. So, I have both. Is it complicated to cross play between the PC and the Switch?
