Sounds frustrating. We'd recommend manually updating your copy of Minecraft for Windows to see if it'll load the latest version, 1.19.63. You can manually update by following the steps in our article here: help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/… ^IV

And what do you recommend if it takes to much reinstallation?
