@amazon @MojangSupport: So the ONLY way to backup Minecraft worlds on Kindle Kids tablets (latest generation) is to.. (checks notes) subscribe to Realms for each kid, making both of you money? Why are you not providing a better way to back them up?

This is the main method we recommend for backing up worlds, Realms do offer free 30 day trials. Alternatively, if you're tech savvy you can try backing up the files directly. Our FAQ help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/… has information on where your Minecraft worlds are stored. ^IV

That method does NOT work on @amazon Kindle Kids tablets, as they block any access to the folder that the worlds are in from outside the app!

Oomph, then it would seem that the only way to back them up on fire tablets is to create a Realm :/ You can leave feedback with devs if you would like to see this feature added in the future: feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en… ^TK
