@MojangSupport Can someone explain why I get this every time there is an update to the launcher? This has been going on for awhile now.

Please try reinstalling your launcher, making sure your Java software is up to date as well. Be sure to check this FAQ for steps on how to repair your launcher: bit.ly/3HcEiDr but let us know if you are still running into this issue after reinstalling ^AM

Took me awhile to get it to uninstall because wasn't even showing up as being installed and then getting the Microsoft store to realize it wasn't installed anymore but I have it working finally. I'll keep an eye on it and try the tips you sent.
